We next create a research plan, considering:
• Where will people with the required skills be working?
• Which career paths would qualify them for the role?
• In which types of companies would they have gained the required experience?
• Will this be a hybrid assignment, using both search and selection techniques?
We use our extensive in-house research database to identify lists of: potential individuals for the role; contacts in a position to recommend appropriate individuals; and target companies to approach. We contact these three groups and identify a group of individuals with the experience to perform the role. If we are also using advertising, we place the advert and add selected individuals from the response to our group of interviewees.
